Poetry in my mother tongue I feel is not a cake walk for me. So I didn’t muster up to write. This is my second poem in Telugu…. Sujata Pal and some of my other friends when evoked my spirit, I did try this……

నందన వనమది మది
వనమాలి నీవైన

వికసి౦చవా నీతల౦పున
విరజాజులు విరగబడి

పరిమలి౦చవ
పారిజాతాలు పరవశించి
నీ పిలుపునకు

తరలిరావ తామరలు
తలవంచి నిన్ను తరి౦చ
నీ చిరుమ౦దహాసము తిలకి౦చి

కలవరమేల నీకు
కరిగిపోయిన కాలము గూర్చి
కాలానికి ఎదురీదగల
మది మ౦దిరము నీదైన…
