Not a word, not a word soothing
On million, on zillion millions of tears
O heart pathetic!
You’re unheeded, you’re badly deserted
None at your rescue , no one at your rescue
You’re alone, you’re lonely, you’re feeble

Fangs of silence, these fangs of silence
Injecting venom, venom in your heart
O heart helpless!
Mourn no more each morn
Victim of death you are
Wail no more in vain, wail no longer in vain
