Empathy

Planted seed of empathy
If watered with positivity
Sprouts, deeds of generosity
Driving off deaths of negativity

A tiny plant of sympathy
Turns life fruitful with passions
Not even storms of distruction
Can uproot thoughts of positivity

Blossoms of understanding
Spread fragrance of withstanding
If relations bloom with empathy
Non craves for sympathy

Birds and animals too exhibit
Acts of concern with great spirit
Can’t WE soothe hearts in pain
With words of pity, expecting no gain?

Ocean of tears dry with the wind of kindness
Wars too can be forbidden with humaneness
To relish fruits of togetherness in plentiful
Embrace every soul as you do yourself
