Tears

If tears had had power
Pain would have got washed off
None would have sailed in the river of tears
Cursing their life for years

If tears had had power
Unfair attittude would have had no room
None would have got rotten in the pit of shame
Cursing their life for years

If tears had had power
Hunger wouldn’t have killed anyone
None would have burnt in the fire of hunger
Cursing their life for years

If tears had had power
Cruelty wouldn’t have ruled humanity
None would have been in the abyss of grief
Cursing their life for years

If tears had had power
Inhumanity would have got drowned by now
None would have been dumped in hopelessness
Cursing their life for years

Still you cry bitterly
shedding tears for years
Hold your tears till your pain drowns to death
Find solutions instead Failing yourself
Burn the trouble instead burning yourself
Confidence shows light in darkness
Trust yourself
you ain’t born to cry!
