I caught the bird
Bird of wishes
When caged
In disappointment,
Its plight pierced
my heart,
drowning me
in glooms,
degrading
my strength,
Cursing my
fate,
defeating
my abilities,
doubting
my efforts,
mocking
at my life.
The minute
I freed it
from the cage
It flew high
fluttering,
far in the sky
Filling
my heart
with glee
blessing me
abilities
abundant,
adoring
my excellence
admiring
my efforts….
Bird like my wish
Started flying
Sky as the limit.
