Magical words

She’s in the mire of whines
Dining on tears as fine
Her fault was helplessness

She was a lychee
Soft, sweet and dreamy
Hard she wasn’t as the cover

Seed as her hope
She left him taste her
Investing her limitless patience

She wasn’t admired
She wasn’t adored
But mocked at her helplessness

Who’s to help her?
None could know her
Never did she expose her burnt hopes

An elderly man’s fatherly care
And his promising words
Illuminated her gloomy path

Words they weren’t but weapons
Through which she defeated cold war
Winning the empire of her boldness

Nothing did the elderly man knew of
What his words worked as

Powerful are words of love and care
Speaking either to inspire or mesmerise
Is a boon of speech one is blessed with
