Art of flattery

Flattery is an art for easy life
It evolves when naked truth displeases
Sugar coated words only win souls
World today is fancy of praises
Truth undressed is considered disrespect

Heart though hates, lips lie
Cause aim is to lead a life of ease
When words of praise are out of control
Favour blocks progress ways
But safe you are if flattery you neglect

Calling a spade a spade invites strife
Failure embraces if words don’t please
Words of praise help reach your goal
Though aware of the facts people sway
Not a normal respect but high praise they expect

Innumerable are people who like to be cajoled
Though deserving qualities need praise
Excessive praise better not to expect
