Your affection was a tide of emotion
I was the pebble rolled in you with elation
I couldn’t know that you’d disappear
As fast as you did appear

Like a stone that gathers no moss
I remained confused at the loss
Seconds as days, days as years
Nagg me reminding your yearns

But it took no time to realise
That our story wasn’t real
It wasn’t written in ink of love
To erase misunderstandings now

let me tell you that you can’t trouble me
With your love hate game you played with me
Though i’m a stone with the heart of glass
You can’t break it treating me a silly lass

I can stand still like a hill with my will
Be not in the illusion of killing my will
Away from your tides of time’s rhyme
I can live without meeting you in my lifetime
