Review of my poem Florets of Fancy by esteemed Poetess Rajani Mula
Thank you Rajani

Esteemed poetess Sarala Balachandran ji

“Florets of Fancy” is an invaluable message to the grievers. Nature is the best teacher of all time. No beauty of the nature complains on its death. The plant that is proud of the blossoms fragrant and beautiful does never whine on losing those blooms.
So are the flowers. They do pose in pride and elegance scented with confidence as long as they live. When they get wilted seperating themselves from the plant, they still smile and stride with fragrance. They don’t mourn on their death as quoted by the poetess in the poem
” Those florets lying on the ground
Still look prettily smiling. “
This is what one ought to learn from them. Live joyously as long as you are alive. Be prepared for death too with the same smile on face.
” No need to worry being sweapt away as
It’s only a matter of time, space and love
to be bloomed again, so why worry! “
These lines of the poem throw light on weak heartedness of man who loses confidence on facing failure. The poet through metaphorical expression enlightens the readers not to give up when defeated in the race of life but to be hopeful. Nothing lasts long. None can live long. So are the obstacles we come across in the journey of life. One that takes birth ought to end up. But what matters is how you live. The poetess has elegantly enlightened the eternal truth with tender phylosophical touch.

Kudos to you dear poetess for composing such a beautiful poem of immortality…..

FLORETS OF FANCY.

Those florets lying on the ground
Still look prettily smiling
They are fanciful to look at
A sheer joy to the heart
Alas ! Time takes its toll
They lose the pretty shades
I stand and look at them
With love,
Once the beautiful flowers adorned the plant with fragrance so sweet
The flowers withered
And fell on the ground
With grace, not shedding a tear as they know their lives are short but will bloom again in the coming spring
and will give joy to all around
No need to worry being sweapt away as it’s only a matter of time, space and love
to be bloomed again, so why worry !
