Esteemed Rajani Mulaji,

Your poem entitled “Thorns” encompasses the enriched treasure of the realities of rosy life amid thorns of thunder. Life revolves and evolves in its own way, sometimes beyond one’s perception and predication. Even the maxim, as you sow, so shall you reap may yield less harvest as desired. Lots of things in life’s journey are beyond human control,thus we are obliged to suffer. However, our selfless deeds go a long way in deriving the roses out of thorns. It’s easy to be unnatural and difficult to be natural in thoughts, behaviours and actions. Thus, the poetess sticks to the pattern of natural growth and development for enjoying the bliss of joy though the waves of contradictions within and without ever tend to engulf the course of life. With ample courage and confidence, we have to face the unprecedented tsunamis of life. Here, indomitable spirit with vibrant vision as propagated by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam works as a driving force to overcome the upcoming challenges of life at every stage and age. Thus, what is needed is the trust that teaches the core competencies of life skills for ensuring the dignity of life. Kudos to you, esteemed poetess for composing such a unique poem on life sublime in sweet verses.

Thorns

Life is like a beautiful rose of hues
It has wonders in each petal like stage
Natural its growth welcomes joys like dues
Though tender its tenure it has prestige
Thorns like troubles exist in every stage
Grieve not on being hurt but conquer your fear
Lose not your will power though you shed tear
Try not to kill the bloom before the dusk
There isn’t any pain, dude, that you can’t bear
Work out to shine, all you need is trust!
