Very beautiful and so powerful short poem which vividly brings out the pathetic condition of married women who sacrifice their desires, longings and intentions for the sake of their husbands. Though it’s the modern era, still many women in India sacrifice their goals for the sake of family members. They get degrees and awards, there is no doubt in it but still many of them do not get opportunity to Express their talents and they sacrifice and suppress them in their hearts to nurse their family members and just expose the smile in front of the others. Their pains are raining in their hearts but noone in their families notice that. Awesome.. excellent excellent and excellent realistic poem which has so many powerful confessional thoughts in it.. salutes to you ma’am for this lyrical magic.
