Me,myself

I’m emotionally independent
Yeah! Financially being independent
is as important as emotional independence

There’re times when I was caught in the trap of emotions
There’re times when I’d drowned self in the river of tears
But I accuse none for being drowned and trapped

So long I wasn’t sure of the thoughts I must give weight to
So long I wasn’t determined to be happy with myself
I gave priority to feelings innumerable which left me pierced

But the dive in tears taught me lessons invaluable
Pain that pained me piercing my heart pitilessly
Paved path to patience, teaching me to please self

I honour my teacher PAIN which is the only reason of pleasure
Tireless targets and treasuresome toughness I tame
To balance self for being emotionally independent!

I am not a captive of either grudge, greed, hatred or love
No weight, neither head nor heart can pull me down anymore
I shall sail on the sea of love without drowning myself dead in it ever!
