SHE

Innocence as her intimate icon
Sincerity as her soulmate serious
Opting optimism and obedience
as her only options
She surrendered herself sincerely
to her soulmate

Isn’t safeguarding her smiles
his responsibility?
He became her frown
He left her to moan
instead being her crown
Is it how he must own her?

But he wasn’t suggested
as to how he must treat her
None of his family cared his attitude
Her tears weren’t paid attention to
She’s witnessing her dreams burn

Though her parents could know it,
they did nothing to help her
All they said was that she must bear it
Since she’s married to him,
their responsibility is fulfilled!

She was mum, an audience she’s
to her own destruction in that relation
She’s cursed and manhandled for no reasons
He was alcoholic, his addiction knew no prediction
He beat her burning her hopes badly

She had nothing but pain in her life
Lost her patience paid no attention
to the fire she put herself in!
Like a burning bright ball she rolled
on the floor

Many who were staring aghast
said, “she’s taken a wrong decision,
none but she herself is to blame. “
Simple is to state
as if none is guilty!
