Poem

Death

Death an angel of peace
Praised never when in pleasure
An uninvited guest unpleasant

Plans, pleasures and sorrows end with it
In a blink of eyes death dips us in peace
Where no anger, hatred and jealous live

Certainty of death is birth
Yet it’s not feared of until it hugs one
Ignorant sole dreams much of heaven
Ignoring deeds that are the staircase of heaven!

War of words and weapons invite
Death which knows no justice
Innocents and infants too are its aim

None it spares, neither the king nor the beggar
All does it hug alike impartial it’s abode
Time and tide ain’t it’s hurdle

Beware of death before you burst out of anger
Be aware of life which is of no guarantee
Care people rather pride and things
Before death drags you to helplessness
Build a staircase to heaven with your deeds dignified
Cementing them with honesty and harmony!
